Amenities updates for Queens and Victoria Parks

Amenities at Queens Park, Park Avenue and Victoria Park, Wandal are set to receive a facelift with Rockhampton Regional Council conducting upgrades to ensure the continued enjoyment of the two beloved community parks.

The works commenced this week and will be carried out strategically to ensure the toilets remain operational for much of the projects although the amenities will be closed to the public when the painting and flooring work is being completed.

The works will include:

fresh paint inside and out of the amenities that will retain the original designs
flooring works
plumbing works
electrical works
general maintenance

The works are due to be completed by June this year, with the amenities block at Mount Morgan No. 7 Dam to be updated later this year as part of the program.
