Auditions for We Will Rock You – Sunday 12 November

Auditions for Rockhampton Regional Council’s 2018 production of We Will Rock You will be held on the 12 November 2017.

Council’s Community Services Committee Chair Councillor Rose Swadling said it was the perfect opportunity for our local performers to showcase their skills.

“We Will Rock You has 24 of Queens’ biggest hits such as We Are The Champions, Radio Ga Ga, I Want To Break Free, Another One Bites The Dust and of course, We Will Rock You to name just a few – all vocally big songs that I know our talented performers will want to perfect,” Cr Swadling said.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity to be part of such an inspiring musical, but also for Council and the local community to support our exceptional performers on stage at home, which we continue to do each year with sell out shows!”

AUDITION INFORMATION

Auditions will be held at the Pilbeam Theatre on Sunday 12 November 2017. You must be 16+ years of age at opening night, 16 March 2018, to audition.

There are no children's roles available in this production.

All auditionees may also be required to attend a general Dance Call, which will be advised at the auditions.

Call backs will be held on Monday 13 to Wednesday 15 November 2017.

Rehearsals will commence on Sunday 14 January, with the season opening on Friday 16 March 2018.
