Australia Day Awards and Citizenship Ceremony 25th January

Come along and celebrate the incredible achievements of individuals in our community at the 2017 Australia Day Award Ceremony on Wednesday, 25th January!
Rockhampton Regional Council will award six successful and deserving nominees for their extraordinary achievements and community spirit in a special awards ceremony from 6pm at the Pilbeam Theatre.
The six award categories include, Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Sportsperson Award, Cultural Award, Community Service Award and Community Event/Initiative Award.
Successful nominees will receive a medal and certificate of recognition.
Following the Australia Day Award ceremony, Council will host its first Citizenship Ceremony of the year, welcoming 116 new citizens from all walks of life to our Region.
Both ceremonies are open to the public.
