Time is running out for those who want to show off their skills and sell their wares at the 2020 Adani Rockhampton River Festival, with stall holder and food vendor expressions of interest closing this week.

The festival, a three day long celebration along the vibrant Riverside precinct, will take place from Friday 24 to Sunday 26 July 2020.

Rockhampton Region Mayor Margaret Strelow said the festival was a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to get themselves in the limelight.

“Every year this festival gets bigger, better, and more exciting,” said Mayor Strelow.

“Thousands of people travel from across Queensland and beyond to enjoy this event, with festival-goers thrilled by the range of arts, music, culture, and food on offer.

“It’s a great opportunity for us to show off our stunning region but it’s an even better opportunity for local businesses to show off what they can cook and create.

“We put out our EOI call at the start of this month and it will close this Sunday December 1.

“If you have something to sell that you think River Festival Revellers will love and you want to be considered for a stall, make sure you let us know before it’s too late.”
