Community Notice – Fraser Park carpark temporary closure

Rockhampton Regional Council is carrying out works on the Fraser Park carpark at the summit of Mount Archer over the next few weeks.

The works include the installation of new bollards, a reseal of the carpark, new line marking, and lighting around the perimeter of the carpark.

The Fraser Park carpark will be closed from Monday 16 November until Friday 20 November, and from Monday 30 November until Friday 4 December. It will remain open over the weekends.

Limited alternative parking will be available downhill from the stairs that lead to Fraser Park (map attached), and Fraser Park will still be accessible on foot via the stairs. Attractions in Fraser Park like the amphitheatre and Nurim Circuit will remain open.
