Council launches new eServices platform for customers
Published on 24 June 2016
Everyday business with Council just got a whole lot easier with the newly launched eServices platform made available for customers and residents of the Rockhampton Region.
eServices is a one stop shop that provides 24 hour customer access to log and check the status of requests, check account balances and process payments such as rates and water bills, dog registration and much more.
Rockhampton Region Mayor Margaret Strelow said the platform is just one of the new digital initiatives being rolled out as part of Council’s Smart Way Forward Strategy.
“Council’s five year ICT Strategic Plan, which includes the Smart Way Forward Strategy, looks at how we can become a more efficient organisation and better serve our customers through the use of technology,” Mayor Strelow said.
“Through centralising personal data on the mobile friendly eServices platform, customers can experience an even more seamless interaction with Council at the tip of their fingers, anywhere and at any time.”
All residents and ratepayers are encouraged to register for an eServices account by clicking here.
Payments are made via BPOINT - a secure way of making online payments with debit card, credit card or electronic funds transfer.
