Rockhampton Regional Council has completed work on a free caravan waste dump point and potable water refill station with it now open for public use.

The caravan waste dump point and potable water refill station is located at the Explore Rockhampton Visitor Information Centre, with access via Ferguson Street, Allenstown, behind the centre.

This facility provides an environmentally friendly way for caravan users to dispose of grey and black water, along with sewage waste.

The dump point is available 24/7 for convenient use by travellers.

In addition to waste disposal, the site also features a potable water refill station located on the amenities block behind the dump point, offering safe, drinkable water for human consumption.

Caravaners are welcome to refill water bottles for drinking, cooking, or other domestic purposes when travelling.

This free service supports responsible waste disposal and provides an essential resource for caravanners in the Rockhampton Region.

A second caravan waste disposal point is also nearing completion at Cedric Archer Park, Gracemere, with works expected to be completed early next year.
