Legendary Aussie singer-songwriter Pete Murray will headline Saturday night's entertainment at Rare Spares Rockynats on Saturday 5 April 2025, bringing his iconic surf-roots sound to Central Queensland's biggest car and bike festival.

Known for chart-topping hits like "Better Days", "So Beautiful", “Feeler” and latest feel-good, summer-single “Wouldn’t It Be Good”, Pete Murray will take the stage as the headline act, promising an unforgettable evening of music that captures the spirit of Australian rock.

Rockhampton Region Mayor Tony Williams says, "Rockynats is about celebrating iconic Australian experiences - from classic cars to legendary music. Pete Murray represents the best of our national music scene, and his performance will be a highlight for everyone at Rockynats in 2025,"

“I can’t wait to get back to Rockhampton to play at Rockynats. Such a beautiful part of the world and no doubt will be a really exciting event. Hope to see you there!” says Pete Murray.

Murray, who has consistently been one of Australia's most beloved singer-songwriters, will deliver a headline set that spans his decades-long career. Audiences can expect to hear his most popular tracks alongside fan favourites that have made him a staple of Australian music.

Up and coming artist Demi Casha will warm up the crowd from 7pm, with Pete Murray taking the stage from 8pm to 9pm at the Showgrounds Precinct, offering visitors a chance to wind down after a day of high-octane automotive action.

Advance Rockhampton Tourism and Events Manager, Zac Garven said after experiencing the adrenaline of Rockynats' daytime events, there's no better way to close out Saturday than with live music from one of Australia's most respected artists.

“All Rockynats tickets for Saturday include entry to the evening concert featuring Pete Murray. Tickets are selling fast, with Early Bird prices starting at less than $18 for Saturday-only admission. We encourage fans to beat the price rise and purchase before January 6,” said Mr Garven.
