It’s time to rev up for Easter 2021 – don’t miss out on the final sale of Rare Spares Rockynats 2021 tickets!

The highly anticipated Rare Spares Rockynats event will take centre stage from 2-5 April, with high-octane vehicles of all shapes and sizes taking part in burnout and drifting competitions.

The event will kick off on Good Friday with the Dream Cruise forming the largest procession of vehicles the city has ever seen.

Rockhampton Regional Council Acting Mayor, Neil Fisher said Council’s Advance Rockhampton team and Summernats have been working hard behind the scenes on a revised event precinct to allow for more entrants, more spectators and a jam-packed program.

“84% of ticket holders for the postponed 2020 event chose to rollover their tickets to the 2021 event, which is a fantastic indication of the continued support for the car festival,” Acting Mayor Fisher said.

“The remaining event tickets will go back on sale on Tuesday 8 December just in time for Christmas gifting and locking in your Easter 2021 plans.

“With the amount of interest from both locals and nationally since the new dates were announced, we are expecting the final release of tickets to sell-out quickly.

“Rare Spares Rockynats will become one of our absolute icon events and we are so proud to be hosting it here for the first time in Rockhampton. This will further cement the region as the Events Capital of Central Queensland.”

Summernats co-owner Andy Lopez said the 2021 event is going to be bigger and better.

“It’s very exciting to be announcing the re-opening of tickets for the inaugural Rockynats after such a turbulent year,” Mr Lopez said.

“This includes a limited release of new car and bike entrant tickets. Rockynats entries had actually sold out before the original event dates were postponed so the release of additional entries is exciting for enthusiasts across Australia.”

“With over 900 car entrants retaining their spot for 2021, and a wait list for the additional entrant spots the interest is incredibly high and the competition is set to be fierce.

“We couldn’t deliver this highly anticipated event without our Naming Rights Partner Rare Spares and the support of our other sponsors who we can’t thank enough for sticking with us throughout the postponement.”

The event will take place over the CBD, Showgrounds and Northside recreation precinct, making it an easily accessible event for all motor enthusiasts and their families whether they live in the Rockhampton or are visiting the region.

Rare Spares Rockynats is proudly presented by Rockhampton Regional Council in association with Summernats.
