Lower riverbank car park and stairwell closure

As of Monday 6 March, an additional portion of the lower riverbank car park (south of William Street) and the stairwell leading from the car park to the William Street roundabout will be permanently closed.

Whilst works are in progress, drivers using the riverbank car park are encouraged to use the alternative stairwell between William and Derby Streets to access Quay Street and the CBD. There is also alternative all day car parking now available on the riverbank side of Quay Street south of William Street.

The redevelopment of the lower Riverbank area will include construction of a new stairwell in this vicinity, due for completion by the end of 2017.
