Published on 15 January 2025
The Pilbeam Theatre’s 2025 Morning Melodies concert series opens with a bang in February, with 007 Shaken Not Stirred.
The show is a tribute to the music of Bond, James Bond and features a selection of iconic tunes in a spy themed extravagant theatrical affair.
From Russia with Love, Skyfall, Goldfinger, Live and Let Die, Diamonds Are Forever and Thunderball are just a few of the iconic songs that audiences will hear.
The show also includes other notorious spy anthems from Mission Impossible, Peter Gunn, Get Smart, The Pink Panther and the famous tango scene from True Lies starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Starring Jonathan Guthrie-Jones and his spy side-kick Belinda Hanne-Reid with Emerson Hurley on piano, 007 Shaken Not Stirred will take audiences on a thrilling ride with an incredible blend of projections, fabulous singing, exciting dancing and gorgeous costumes. And if that’s not enough, a show about James Bond, the most famous spy of them all, must include some of his witty one-liners because, of course, nobody does it better.
007 Shaken Not Stirred will be performed at the Pilbeam Theatre on Monday 10 February at 11am. A free Morning Tea will be available before the show, from 10am. Tickets are on sale now from the Pilbeam Theatre Box Office, phone 4927 4111 and www.seeitlive.com.au
Morning Melodies is presented by Rockhampton Regional Council.
