Pop Culture Convention CapriCon Set to Rival the Best for Just $6

Get ready, Rockhampton! This Saturday, the Rockhampton Showgrounds will be transformed into a pop culture paradise as CapriCon Pop Culture Convention, presented by McDonald's Central Queensland, opens its doors for an epic day of entertainment, creativity, and community.
Celebrating its 7th anniversary, CapriCon has quickly risen to the ranks as regional Queensland’s biggest single-day pop culture convention, delivering a line-up of guests and vendors from the likes of Supanova and Oz Comic Con.
Pop culture enthusiast Deputy Mayor Councillor Drew Wickerson said for just $6, attendees can immerse themselves in a diverse and dynamic program running from 8:30am to 8pm at the Rockhampton Showgrounds.
“With activities and attractions for all ages, CapriCon promises an unforgettable experience that combines affordability with the high-quality content typically found at major capital city conventions,” Deputy Mayor Wickerson said.
“With tickets priced at just $6 and free entry for companions and children under 6, CapriCon offers outstanding value for a full day of entertainment and pop culture immersion. The first 100 attendees through the gates with pre-purchased tickets will also receive a free CapriCon lanyard.”
CapriCon 2024 is set to deliver an action-packed day, featuring a star-studded lineup on the Millennium Comics and Collectables Main Stage. Attendees can meet and greet special guests including Lincoln Lewis, Wolf Creek’s John Jarratt, TikTok Cosplay Royalty Rhyleep, and former WWE wrestler and actor Nathan Jones, known for his roles in "Mad Max: Fury Road" and "Mad Max: Furiosa.
