Public Notice - Notice of Approved Inspection Program

Fitzroy River Water wishes to inform residents in South Rockhampton that Rockhampton Regional Council has approved an inspection program to allow inspections to be undertaken on private properties to identify possible sources of stormwater inflow and infiltration into the sewerage network.

This inspection program is being undertaken to help prevent problems occurring when excessive stormwater enters the sewerage network during wet weather events. The program will commence on Thursday 15 September 2016 and will continue until 30 November 2016.

Members of the public may view or obtain free of charge a copy of the resolution that approved the inspection program from the customer service area in City Hall, Bolsover St, Rockhampton.
