River Festivities Cancelled Today Due to Weather

Due to the weather conditions currently, the River Festival has been cancelled for today and this evening. All ticketed events happening today and tonight, are also cancelled. Ticket refunds will be issues to those that have purchased tickets as soon as possible.

Sarah Reeves, festival organiser, while disappointed was grateful for the support of the event so far, “We appreciate the support of the festival despite the inclement weather and we will be keeping a close eye on the conditions to assess if we can go ahead with tomorrow’s festivities or not.”

Any new information or changes to the festival will be communicated through the Rockhampton River Festival website under the ‘Inside Riverfest’ tab and also on the Rockhampton River Festival facebook page.
