Skate parks and playgrounds now closed

Rockhampton Regional Council has today announced closures to camping facilities, playgrounds, fishing pontoons and skate parks as part of our ongoing response to the coronavirus situation.

It may not be possible to fence off all areas but the below facilities are now closed to the public and they should not be used. Signs will also be installed explaining the facilities are closed.   

  • Kershaw Gardens camping area
  • Public playgrounds
  • Fishing platforms
  • Skate parks
