Woollam Constructions lights up the sky

Celebrate the revival of our Riverbank with the Woollam Constructions Fireworks display on Saturday 15 July, 7pm, at the Rockhampton River Festival.

The Woollam Constructions Fireworks is the highlight of full program of events for Saturday, as each night is crafted to keep you coming back for more.

Rockhampton Region Mayor Margaret Strelow said the fireworks display is one of the biggest drawcards in creating a fun and memorable atmosphere.

“The 2017 Rockhampton River Festival is shaping up to be the biggest yet and we are expecting record attendance numbers looking for fun and exciting entertainment that many people would have never seen before,” Mayor Strelow said.

“An event of this size wouldn’t be possible without the assistance and support from our sponsors, and I would like to thank Woollam Constructions for their involvement right across the board in helping create something the people of our Region will remember.”

Woollam Constructions is an innovative, multi-award winning company that has been an integral part of building Rockhampton, and the Riverbank Redevelopment.

Woollam Constructions Managing Director Craig Percival said that supporting communities where we work and live is a Woollam legacy.

“The Rockhampton River Festival is a celebration for the whole community, and with the recent redevelopment it seemed fitting that we support a part of the event that will bring the area alive with colour,” said Mr Percival.

“Woollam has been building in Rockhampton since 1888 and during this time we have revived, changed and adapted with the times, and Rockhampton is doing just that with major projects such as the Riverbank Redevelopment and Rockhampton River Festival.

“We are proud to support this festival and look forward to watching the sky come alight with the whole of Rockhampton,” he said.

Watch the riverbank come alight from 7pm with the best vantage points at Pallet Village, and out the front of Customs House, Quay Street.
