ACS Rockhampton Regional Roadshow: Why Data Security is a Must

Presented by Jamie Wilson, Executive Chairman, Cryptoloc, the session will cover a wide range of topics including the emergence of Data Security, its role in relation to Perimeter and Core security measures, its importance in relation to Cyber Security for Business and the landscape business owners must now navigate from a regulatory perspective following recent changes to the Privacy Act as a result of last year’s Medibank and Optus breaches.

Following Jamie’s presentation, ACS Skills Advisor Luisa Grant will outline the Cyber Security Traineeship Pilot, and how ACS has been working with Industry to declare the Certificate IV in Cyber Security as a Traineeship in Queensland, helping to address the regional tech talent shortfall.
