ASSI Recognition Flag Raising Ceremony

Wednesday, 25 August is the date Australian South Sea Islanders were formally recognised as a distinct cultural group by the Australian Federal Government. We acknowledge this date with the support of the Rockhampton Regional Council with a flag raising ceremony of the Australian South Sea Islander Flag.
