Carers Morning Tea and Dementia Australia Presentation

Carers Queensland will be hosting a morning tea at our Carers Queensland Rockhampton office. This will be a great opportunity to connect with other carers over a cuppa, and to also hear a live-streamed guest speaker sharing information about Dementia Australia.

Dementia Australia represents the 487,500 Australians living with dementia and the almost 1.6 million Australians involved in their care. Caring for a loved one with Dementia is a big responsibility, one that can be rewarding and challenging. It affects your life and your day-to-day as well. You need a lot of patience, compassion and understanding every day.

Some days can be harder than others and you may feel like you are alone. You are not alone!

Join us for this morning tea and presentation to learn about the free support services offered by Dementia Australia to families and carers.

There is also an opportunity to talk to their compassionate and caring team, and ask questions you may have.
