2025 Rockhampton Eisteddfod

Planning is underway for the 88th Rockhampton Eisteddfod which will commence on Friday 2 May 2025 commencing with the Piano and Instrumental sections to be conducted in the Walter Reid Cultural Centre auditorium. Rockhampton Regional Council is again the major sponsor of this annual event and the Eisteddfod Association greatly appreciates Council support. Following Piano and Instrumental, the Speech and Drama section will commence at the Pilbeam Theatre on 12 May to be followed by a Dance Groups Weekend on 17 and 18 May. The 2025 Rockhampton Eisteddfod will conclude with the Vocal section commencing on 19 May featuring school choirs and ensembles May.

Dates for the sections for the 88th Rockhampton Eisteddfod are:

Piano: 2 May - 5 May

Instrumental: 6 May - 8 May

Speech and Drama: 12 May - 15 May

Dance Groups Weekend: 17 May - 18 May

Vocal and Choral: 19 - 24 May

All of the above dates are inclusive.

Entries for the 2025 Rockhampton Eisteddfod will close on 3 March 2025.
