Rockhampton is the final pitstop for state-wide caravan safety program

In response to the post-Covid caravanning boom and the rapid rise in recreational vehicle (RV) ownership across Queensland over the past few years, Rockhampton residents have the opportunity to attend the final FREE statewide caravan safety program for the year.

Open to all owners of caravans, campers and motorhomes, VANSafe Queensland educates and supports recreational vehicle (RV) owners with all the information they need to tow confidently, safely and compliantly – helping to create safer roads right across the state. 

In addition to safety workshops and displays, the event will feature free Weight and Towing Masterclasses covering weight distribution, correct loading, towing tips and tricks as well as an open Q&A format to empower all attendees with the knowledge to embark on their next road trip safely.

The Masterclasses will take place on Thursday 23, November between 2:00pm and 4:00pm at the Rockhampton Showgrounds. 

With the highest number of registered recreational vehicles in Queensland (201,477) and a 190% increase in Google searches around caravan safety in Queensland, there is no excuse for current or aspiring ‘cara-fans’ not head on down to one of the below masterclasses – but remember to BYO chair!
