Where?
Our Rockhampton City Band Hall – Fred Fox Hall Gladstone Road(corner of William Street), Rockhampton

Why the party?
This year, Rockhampton City Brass Band Incorporated (known as Rockhampton City Band) celebrates 150 years of bringing instrumental music to the local Rockhampton community and wider Capricorn Coast region.

This is a significant achievement for any instrumental ensemble, and even more significant for our relatively small organisation and our 25 members.

Who are we?
We are teachers, students, nurses, paramedics, public servants, hospitality staff, retirees and even a Church MinisterWe areyoung (and not so young) adults who share a love of playing and sharing our music. Some of us picked up our instruments as adults; some have been playing since schooland we’re always welcoming new players to our merry band of music makers

From the military brass band roots through to the community concert band we are today, we are proud of our longevity and look forward to many more music-filled years ahead.
Thank you to the Rockhampton City Council CAP Grant program for supporting our celebration.
