A recovery focused mental health service that aims to provide responsive, appropriate, comprehensive mental health care to all people with serious mental illness and those who require assessment.

Services

  • ACUTE CARE TEAM (1300 642 255) is a confidential mental health telephone triage service that provides the first point of contact to public mental health services 
  • CENTRAL QUEENSLAND DISASTER RECOVERY TEAM provides mental health to assist with mental health recovery following the Central Queensland bushfires
  • COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE (ADULTS) provides mental health assessment and treatment services to people who are affected by mental illness
  • OLDER PERSONS MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE is a shared-care model with the General Practitioner retaining a central role in the coordination and provision of health care
  • CHILD AND YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE specialises in helping children and young people up to the age of 18 years.
  • FORENSIC MENTAL HEALTH SERVICE assesses and manages complex patients who have committed, or are at significant risk of committing, and offence, or engaging in problematic and high concern behaviours towards others.
