Capricorn Conservation Council (CCC) is a voice for the environment, for this generation and the next- since 1973!

CCC is guided by Traditional Owners and Elders and we acknowledge & respect their ongoing connection to Country. CCC has been the peak environmental advocacy group in Central Queensland & the Capricorn Coast for over 50 years. We advocate for better environmental policy from all decision-makers, we lead and support local groups on campaigns to protect our natural assets; and we promote the exchange of knowledge to empower our community to care for Country. CCC are led by the next generation and take on-the-ground action across CQ to conserve, protect and enhance BIODIVERSITY. CCC operates from the 'Hut' on Darumbal Country and invites the community to SIGN UP as a MEMBER- for our environment & our future!
