Central Queensland Family History Association Inc.
We are a non-profit organisation that provides information and support for anyone wishing to research their family history. Our group meets on the first Saturday of March, June, September, and December, at 10am. We promote local records by indexing any available records - such as school admission registers. Our family history library holds a wealth of information covering many parts of the world, in many forms - book, microfiche, film, and digital. There are always 2 library assistants to help members and visitors to navigate our library. We also have members willing to help other members with information on DNA and Family History programs. We publish a journal 3 times a year, which is included in membership, featuring many interesting stories. Our current annual membership fee is $50 per member, (with $10 for journal postage, if required, or emailed free). Visitors pay a $10 fee per session.
