Suspected Invasive Plants

 
If you have found an unknown plant, the following resources will help you identify it: 

• Weeds Australia Weed Identification Tool
• Send a sample for identification to the Queensland Herbarium
• Join the Weed Spotters Network and download the Weed Spotters app to your phone to send photos directly to the Queensland Herbarium.
• Refer to Weeds of Central and Northern Queensland booklet.

Have you discovered an infestation of an existing invasive plant?  If so, please download the Suspected Invasive Plant Form (or contact us for a hard copy) and fill it out, then return it to Council by fax, email, or in person and we will follow up on your sighting.
