Green Waste and Mulch

Green waste charges commenced 2 August 2021. Refer to the Waste Facilities General info and Fees & Charges Fact sheet for more information about green waste charges. 

A commercial green waste customer is determined as any customer that arrives at a Waste Transfer Station in a vehicle displaying a green waste service with a load greater than a ute/6 x 4 trailer. Commercial green waste customers will be directed to the Lakes Creek Road Waste Management Facility for the disposal of their green waste.

Mulched green waste is available free of charge to residents, for domestic use, to improve soil health and water retention of their gardens. Mulch must be self-loaded with no machinery or mechanical equipment. Mulch availability is subject to stock levels at each Waste Management Facility.
