Mount Archer Lighting Installation, New Amenities & Car Park Renewal
Project Scope
The project involved pathway lighting up to and through the treetop canopy walk on the western side; an upgrade to the low voltage power supply; and the installation of ambient lighting to the amphitheater area.
The car park has been renewed with the installation of new bollards, resealing of the existing car park, and application of new line marking. A new amenities block has been constructed with three unisex cubicles, with one of the cubicles being wheelchair accessible with a baby change station.

The upgrades to the lighting, amenities and car park at Mount Archer provide greater security for visitors, and enhance the beauty of this spectacular location.
Funding
The lighting and car park works are co-funded by Regional Jobs and Investment Packages and Rockhampton Regional Council.
The new amenities are funded by a Communities Development Grant.
