Farm Street, Kawana- Roadworks

Announcement

Roadworks are about to commence along Murray Street from Fitzroy Street to Denham Street, Rockhampton City. The works to be undertaken will include concrete kerb and channel replacement and asphalt overlay.

During this time, Farm Street will be under a single lane closure with traffic controllers and detours in place to assist with property access.  Please note speed and parking restrictions will also be in place.

Project Schedule:

  • Sunday, 2 March – Asphalt repairs – Day works (6am to 5pm)
  • Sunday, 16 March – Asphalt repairs – Day works (6am to 5pm)
  • Sunday 30 March – Asphalt overlay – Day works (6am to 5pm)
  • Monday, 31 March – Asphalt overlay – Night works (7pm to 4am)
  • Tuesday, 1 April – Line marking – Night works (7pm to 4am)
  • Wednesday, 2 April – Line marking – Night works (7pm to 4am)
  • Thursday, 3 April – Line marking – Night works (7pm to 4am)

Council requests that drivers exercise caution during these works; obeying all signage, and do not park vehicles on the road whilst the works are being undertaken.
