  • Project scheduleWorks are scheduled to commence 7 April 2024 and are estimated to take approximately eighteen (18) weeks to complete, utilising a mix of day works and night works, subject to weather and ground conditions.

Council will be commencing roadworks along Canning Street, Derby Street and Upper Dawson Road, Allenstown on 7 April 2024. The works being undertaken include the installation of a raised safety platform, channelised right turns, blister islands and upgrades to the pedestrian crossings and refuge areas which will involve additional pavement repair works and an asphalt overlay.

Council requests that drivers exercise caution and obey all signage whilst the works are being undertaken.
