Rockhampton Regional Council announced it will not be going ahead with the purchase of a parcel of land at Bouldercombe as a potential motorsport precinct, in order to focus on more immediate and substantial infrastructure priorities to sustain and support growth in the region.
Council remains committed to a motorsport precinct for the region and will continue investigating alternative sites and options to support future development of motorsports in the Region.
