River Rose Drive - Community Planting Site

On-ground works are being carried out along River Rose Drive (between Frenken and Bramble Streets) in preparation for Council's National Tree Day 2024 celebrations.

Schedule: Intermittent works scheduled from February to October 2024.

Site objectives: Increase shade and amenity by planting a mix of advanced trees along the footpath, complemented by low shrubs and grasses within defined planting areas.

Work activities: Preparation of defined planting areas through ripping of the soil, a period of soil conditioning and settling, and mulching. Routine maintenance including watering and weeding.
