Temporary Closure

Southside Pool operating hours for Saturday, 26 October:

50m Pool - Closed to public for the Beef City Carnival
25m Pool - Only open to existing Learn-to-Swim & Aqua Aerobic classes
Water Play - Closed from 24 to 26 Oct

The centre, including the water play will reopen on Sunday 27 October, as per normal operating hours.

The 2nd World War Memorial Swimming Pool also known as the Southside Pool, is located in South Rockhampton.

Whether you are wanting to swim laps for fitness, cool down on a hot day or bring the kids in for some fun, there is a pool suitable for your needs.

  • heated 25m pool (ramp access)
  • hot shower facilities
  • 650 seat covered grandstand
  • water play area
  • diving pool
  • heated Learn to Swim Pool.

Fees: $3.00 entry
